Introduction to Professional Floristry Part 2

Developed by the tutors at The Floristry School, this course will give you the knowledge and skills needed to create and develop some of the key floral designs used by professional florists in the industry.

Developed by the tutors at The Floristry School, this course will give you the knowledge and skills needed to create and develop some of the key floral designs used by professional florists in the industry.

This 10-week course will develop on the skills and knowledge gained during Part 1, and we will delve further into the principles and elements of design and colour theory which will help you to become more confident as a floral designer.  

More advanced techniques, frameworks and structures will be produced for the designs which will include - hand-ties, corporate/gift work, corsages and head/hair decorations together with an introduction to studying some of the historical periods and styles of design.

Thursdays:

Part 2:  6.00pm start – 8.30pm finish.    £349.00 for the 10-week course

The cost of the course does not include fresh materials – a list of materials needed each week will be issued once the student has started the course.  Discounts for fresh materials for Floristry School Students have been negotiated at selected partner florists in the Sheffield area. 

Any sundries, such as floral foam, moss, tape, and wire can be purchased at TFS.
